n August 2003, Rabbi David Rueun sofer (escriba) specialized in old writings has analyzed the Sefer confirming his antiquity and also locating it geographically in the Iberian Peninsula confirming that its origin is previous to the inzuiqsición in Spain ' sefaradí'.

These are some of the observed details:

The Sifrei Tora modern has 42 lines by column whereas the one of Rhodes has 45.

The Hebrew letter "lamed" today is written with small 'hat' (left) whereas those of the Sefer of Rhodes it finishes straight (right).

When a letter "nun" and "iud" are one next to the other in a modern Sefer is observed them clearly separated (left) whereas in those of the Sefer de Rhodes (right) "nun" extends below "iud".

In a modern Sefer, in order to maintain parallel each right column and left (margin justification), some letters never are wide and mighty but one "shin". In the Sefer de Rhodes the letter "shin" is wide and mighty as it is seen in the figure that follows.
